For Immediate Release:

The Brooklyn Cyclones, Short-Season Class A affilitiate of the New York Mets, are teaming up with Exhilent Mobile for “Salute To Seinfeld Night” on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 to provide ScreenDuet, a second screen trivia experience for the fans at the ballpark.

Fans will be able to log-in with their smartphones and play against each other to see who the true Seinfeld aficionados are. Fans will be treated to Seinfeld facts along with playing against each other with a variety of True/False and multiple-choice questions. Devoted enthusiasts will be able to interact with each other via Social Media as well through the In-Game Chat function.

Exhilent Mobile will be providing the platform, called ScreenDuet, that has been used by ESPN, the World-Champion San Antonio Spurs, and many other sports and live venue events.

“We have been huge Seinfeld fans since 1989, so providing our platform for this event was a no-brainer, and we are excited to be a part of the festivities…or Festivus,” said Joey Janisheck, CEO of Exhilent. “With all of the events that the Cyclones have planned, it will be one the most exciting nights at a baseball stadium.”

In addition to ScreenDuet, the Cyclones have a full night of festivities planned. Some of the events include; a cereal eating contest, Elaine dancing contest, fishing for marble rye, the Junior Mint toss, “Low-Talking” PA announcer, players in puffy shirts during batting practice, a soup tasting with Larry Thomas – The Soup Nazi, and much, much more. The first 2,500 fans will receive a free Keith Hernandez “Magic Loogie” bobblehead. For a complete list of events, visit the Brooklyn Cyclones website at

“We have been preparing for this night for months, and we promise it will be worth the wait,” Cyclones Vice President Steve Cohen said. “We’ve got a lot of different stuff going on that night, but one of the things we are most excited about is the ScreenDuet trivia challenge. The true Seinfeld fans will really be able to enjoy the game on the field, but also this game off the field…yada yada yada, it will be a great night.”

The Brooklyn Cyclones are a Short-Season Class A affiliate of the New York Mets. The Cyclones play at MCU Park, in the heart of Coney Island. Last year, the team led the New York-Penn League in attendance for the 13th consecutive season and the franchise has welcomed over 3,000,000 fans to the ballpark since its inception. The Cyclones have also advanced to the postseason nine times, winning a league championship in 2001 and a total of five McNamara Division titles.
